Knuckle Tattoos!

These babies by far hurt the worst.   I use them everyday to remind myself how precious life is.  We are only on earth for a short time, its important to stop and smell the air, spend time with your family, let go of grudges and flip your hair in the wind diva!!! yes work honey!!!! I always believe that the tattoos I get, are things that will help me to become a better person everyday.  They inspire me, and remind me.  Do you have any tattoos? Why did you get them? Are you ever going to get one?

Lego Rollers!

Why is it that I find a large percentage of all of my unique hair styling items at my local japanese market? These rollers are made for long hair, they are about 4 inches long, but can be connected to one another to suit any hair length! Connect 200 if you got hair like Rapunzel! I love it, all for $4.99.  Where can I get these online?
Does any other countries make these?

Help! My blowdryer is attacking me!

Hey all of you BFFs, have you ever seen this nifty contraption before? Its supposed to be a revolutionary blowdryer diffuser for naturally curly hair.  Um. . .Yeah.  I thought it was genius, but the attachment keeps popping off my blowdryer, so they recommend you buy "their blowdryer too".  Then why do they make a universal attachment if they recommend their own blowdryer with it?!? Lol.  I was using this on a celebrity for the first time, and the diffuser popped off and it hit her face. =( The lime green color scared her too. =| .  Great hair products for curly hair though, just wasn't into the diffuser! Have you tried it? Are they're any other brands like this for curly hair?

Sometimes I get to shoot at these amazing locations, this one is in palm springs, and is completely full with shallow water.  I think its like $5000 or something to fill it up.  There were lots of water trucks! I had to take a behind the scenes photo with my boots on! Here is what we ended up shooting! So surreal isn't it! It looks like its out of some kind of space movie! Where was the coolest place you have visited?!?

If you're ever bored and want to have some one on one time with your hair, try a random undo by pinning up big sections and using some of these miniature claw clips I found at the discount store.  This is  great way to audition looks without committing to bobby pinning LOL.  I also use these claw clips on heavy and thick hair, they work better than bobby pins and are much easier to put in! Happy experimenting! What do you think? Yay for the mini claws?? Blondes can get them in clear so that they blend!

Half Up Half Down Hair with a Bohemian Tribal Twist!

In this fashion editorial I wanted to create effortless, weightless hair.   I think its a modern misconception that frizz is bad, but if you remember the old school bombshells like Grace Coddington, Diana Ross, and now trendsetting celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna and Taylor Swift all rock the undone textures.  Give your hair a break from products! Embrace your airy (frizzy hair).

Pin Class! Asian Pins Vs. Standard Bobbypins

Here's a big secret of mine. Japanese bobby pins (shown on top) are uniquely designed to grip slippery hair and coarse textures. The fine tips hold hair so much better than standard bobby pins. Be careful though! They are quite sharp. These pins are ideal also if you're blonde and have fine hair and have difficulty hiding your pins =)
Maybe now you won't have to use 3.444,343 bobby pins in your next updo! Does anyone know of a cheap place to get these?!?
